Our vision and mission

Our goal is to present you with the right solution to the diverse needs that your project requires, providing a personal and distinctive decorative touch. In order to achieve this, Thomas Ker relies on our knowledge of market trends and our long-standing collaboration with leading international manufacturers to offer you our vinyl and natural fiber siding.

Environmental policy

Vinyl is a synthetic material composed of two simple building blocks: chlorine, obtained from common salt; and ethylene, derived from crude oil. Our vinyl or vinyl siding does not contain harmful chemicals such as lead, chromium, formaldehyde, cadmium or mercury. In addition, they are free of bioaccumulative and persistent toxic chemicals.

Eco-efficient manufacturing

All inks that are not used in manufacturing are recycled through a closed-loop system. In addition, the inks used are free of pollutants hazardous to the air.

Energy conservation

The emission destruction process not only prevents harmful pollutants from being released into the surrounding environment, but also generates energy as a by-product. This energy reduces the use of natural gas, thus reducing dependence on external energy supplies.

Clean air

The manufacturing process exceeds clean air emission standards, capturing 99.5% of its total emissions through the use of low volatile organic compound (VOC) products.

Odors

Tests have shown that the initial odor of vinyl siding dissipates much faster than odors associated with paints.

Sustainability

Vinyl is an easy surface to clean with warm water and mild soap. It does not require the use of harsh cleaning agents, and helps control pathogens and maintain a sanitary environment. Its long service life makes it much more sustainable than paint products.

Permeability

We offer our customers the option of manufacturing our vinyl siding with the micro-ventilation technique. This is an optional feature that does not adversely affect the overall technical properties. Vinyl siding with microventilation can minimize one of the main factors that promotes mold growth; however, by itself, it cannot completely prevent the appearance of mold and mildew if the cause of excess moisture is not corrected.

Recycling

Vinyl is highly recyclable, and post-consumer waste can be reused to make products such as garden hoses, pipes or soundproof panels, to name just a few examples.
